C/Can gets Chika!

City Cancer Challenge Foundation (C/Can) is continuing to support cities to improve access to quality cancer care and representing C/Can in Asia is Chika Kitajima, taking on a new role, Regional Director Asia, to ensure the mission gets spread across the region.

Chika is joining the worldwide team to communicate with C/Can’s important partners in the region and to ensure the global strategy is implemented, combatting local challenges, and bringing global opportunities to Asia.

Chika began her career in the field and is looking forward to getting back to it, as well as raising funds and building strong partnerships for the organization in Asia. Taking the lead in this recruitment, Karem Armstrong worked closely with Chika throughout the process. Chika commented: “Karem went the extra mile to find out information. Support from Karem and Daryl Upsall International definitely expedited my recruitment and mitigated any concerns and worries in the process.”

C/Can’s work is so important, and we are so very pleased to have partnered with them to find Chika. C/Can CEO, Isabel Mestres commented: “With Daryl Upsall’s tools and capacity to look for worldwide candidates, we got an incredible result; it went above and beyond what we expected”.

Karem, and the whole team, are very much looking forward to seeing Chika settle into her new position.
