Who We Are
Let us introduce you to Julia Strong
Julia is a non-profit resource mobilisation and partnerships professional with 14 years’ experience in the charitable sector. She has worked across international markets and has field experience in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Julia has worked with a range of private fundraising channels and is experienced in managing philanthropic partnerships with trusts and foundations, companies, and major donors alongside management of insight research, events and membership programmes.
Prior to joining Daryl Upsall International, she worked in-house as a fundraiser for a range of non-profit organisations to drive income growth in existing and new markets in Europe and the U.S.A. She has UN agency experience, alongside experience with a large international non-profit, smaller national organisations and grassroots field organisations (including UNRWA, Sightsavers, the Design Museum, the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Kenya Hospice Assocation). She is passionate about working with charities to develop and implement strategies to build income and her approach focuses on growing strong and sustainable relationships with donors.
Julia holds a Masters degree in International Development from the University of Birmingham (UK), a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of York (UK) and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Institute of Fundraising in the U.K.
