Karine Klein

Karine is a senior specialist in private fundraising with multicultural experience as a Director of Fundraising and an International Consultant for more than 18 years.

Her fundraising journey started with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2004 as the Head of Fundraising for Switzerland. Since 2008, she undertook assignments for Médecins Sans Frontières and for various small and large international organizations in many countries of Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa either in her Fundraising Director capacity or as a strategic advisor for market entry plans, for overall strategic planning in mass and high-value approaches, for performance assessments and for ad hoc projects. Karine regularly conducts fundraising training at institutions in Switzerland and is a seasoned trainer and workshop facilitator.

2019 was the year of her first collaboration with Daryl Upsall International.

Before her fundraising journey, over 16 years, Karine developed her career in leading companies of the private sector (Bic Group, Sony and LVMH), where she held senior marketing and communication management positions. She earned and MBA equivalent as a graduate from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion in France. She lives near Geneva.
