Who We Are

Let us introduce you to Martha Oddy Boninfante

Martha Oddy Boninfante

Senior International Consultant

Martha is a high- and medium-value partnerships fundraiser and researcher, with 20 years’ experience across diverse sectors and a variety of markets. She has a particular track record in planning and executing new income generation programmes.  At Daryl Upsall International, Martha leads projects with international organisations looking to expand and solidify their funding bases with assessments of both external funding opportunity and internal preparedness.

Martha has experience leading grants fundraising teams and providing consultancy and prospect research services with both large and small charities including Service Civil International, The Children’s Society, Princes Trust International, the Queen Rania Foundation for Education & Development, Canal & River Trust, Women in Sport, London’s Philharmonia Orchestra and The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

Based in France, Martha is currently working internationally with clients in the culture and environmental sectors. She has a meticulous approach to researching and qualifying funding prospects, always starting with a thorough understanding of the charity’s needs and distinctiveness.

Before her fundraising career, Martha lived in France for several years, and then worked for a short time as a bilingual analyst for Euromonitor, researching French consumer markets. She then moved into Leadership Giving (corporate and major donor fundraising) in London’s vibrant music sector, before expanding into youth organisations and developing a specialism in grants fundraising. She has supported international not-for-profit organisations as well as national charities across the youth, culture, heritage, conservation, environment and social justice sectors; especially in markets in Europe and the Middle East.
