McAra Kirby-Fahey

McAra has ten years of experience in the non-profit sector across the US, Australia, and Europe. With a background in design and the arts, she began her fundraising career at the San Francisco Opera as part of their highly successful development team. Building on her experience in the US, she returned to Australia to take on numerous fundraising roles with arts and cultural organisations, which saw her focus on stewardship, major gifts, and campaigns.

Moving into non-profit consultancy in 2021, McAra was able to expand her experience into new sectors including disability, higher education, refugees, domestic violence, and First Nations with clients such as The Australian Human Rights Institute, CARE Australia, the Stroke Foundation, and Expression Australia.

Now based in Portugal, she focuses on building both the strategic fundraising capacity of our clients and using her many years of expertise in the sector to help recruit the perfect candidate.
