As the CHS Alliance moves into a new stage of development, a new role, Chief Operating Officer, was created to help the global alliance achieve its new ambitious goals.

We are very happy to announce that Steven Parkinson has taken on the critical role committed to making aid work better for people around the globe. Steven will join CHS Alliance’s Senior Management Team, ready to contribute to the dynamic strategic vision.

Our own Ruth Gardner led the search for the Chief Operating Officer, getting to know the alliance in depth to find them the best possible candidate. Ruth enjoyed working with the CHS Alliance team to get Steven set up for his role. CHS Alliance’s Executive Officer, Tanya Wood commented that: “Daryl Upsall gave incredible support to help us find an important position of a new COO. They took time to understand our needs and were extremely helpful”.

Both Steven and the CHS Alliance were a pleasure to partner with and we cannot wait to see how Steven will settle in, bringing his experience and talents to develop this brand-new role.
