The Obama Foundation unites with Elizabeth Lamberti!

As the Obama Foundation continues its work to encourage democracy around the world, growing a network of changemakers to address the biggest challenges facing our world, the Obama team is also growing!

To take on the challenge of leading philanthropy endeavours internationally, we are very happy to announce that Elizabeth Lamberti has joined the foundation, taking on the position of Senior Director of Development, International. With over a decade of international experience, Elizabeth is a seasoned philanthropy partner who is a committed humanitarian.

To take our search international and utilise a range of networks, a recruitment team was created to partner with the Obama team on the search for Elizabeth. Both Mario Amaya-Velazquez, Chief of Staff Development and Caite Gilmore, Vice President of Development are very excited to have Elizabeth joining the team and commented: “It has been a pleasure working with Zoe, Ruth, and McAra to find Elizabeth, she will be a great addition to the team, and we have nothing but positive things to say about the search.”

As Elizabeth begins her journey with the Obama Foundation, she commented: “I’m thrilled to be returning to Chicago to be a part of the Obama Foundation community. I’m grateful to Zoe and the team at Daryl Upsall for the support they provided each step of the way. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!”

Wishing Elizabeth all the best for her first week, we very much look forward to hearing how she gets on in her new role.
