With Daryl Upsall International, Leyre designs strategies for Spanish organisations to develop their fundraising plans and secure financial sustainability and growth. She encourages organisations to open their minds to new ideas, approaches and actions to be applied in their fundraising strategies. Internally, Leyre leads the digital strategy and design of communication elements.
With more than 15 years’ experience working in the non-profit sector, Leyre has specialized in legacies fundraising, leading projects in Spain, helping organisations with their legacies programmes based on a clear, flexible and fresh legacy strategy.
In 2005 Leyre was part of the creation of the national LegadoSolidario.org awareness-raising campaign, which she now leads with an internal team. She teaches legacy fundraising in the Fundraising Master at the Complutense University of Madrid. She also conducts Legacy Masterclasses at different congresses and for organisations boards and teams.
Leyre has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing and prior to joining the agency, Leyre worked for 8 years as marketing and programming manager for the media company Sogecable (PRISA Group), in charge of the distribution, marketing and loyalty of the Group’s theme channels.
