19 Feb Scott Edwards makes his start at Bloomberg Ocean Fund!
In the midst of the mission to protect the world’s oceans, the Bloomberg Ocean Fund needed a Strategic Communications Lead to drive campaigns, communications, and media efforts and, most importantly, tell the story of the Fund’s critical work in marine protection, coral conservation, and fishing transparency.
With an important task on their hands, we are therefore totally thrilled to pronounce that Scott Edwards has taken on the position of Strategic Communications Lead. Bringing his international communications experience to the Fund, Scott will be taking on several key, critical, and innovative responsibilities, including developing a robust advocacy communications plan in support of the Fund’s ambitious overarching commitment to support the global goal to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030.
Scott commented: “I am excited to have joined the Bloomberg Ocean Fund and look forward to working with its partners to achieve impact in this critical decade for the ocean”.
Emma Adams, who headed up the recruitment process, and the rest of the Daryl Upsall team, have been thrilled to collaborate with Bloomberg on a new and exciting position.
